Washington, D.C. – Last week, Catherine Cortez Masto’s campaign falsely claimed in a statement to KSNV that she “is one of the most effective leaders in the Senate because she works across the aisle to get things done for Nevada.” In addition to voting for Chuck Schumer’s anti-Nevada agenda 98% of the time just this Congress, Cortez Masto’s record shows just how ineffective she has been at delivering for Nevadans. Since taking office in 2017, Cortez Masto has introduced 171 bills – only three of those bills have become law. No wonder she’s actually ranked one of the least effective Democrat Senators.
This week, Cortez Masto is hitting the campaign trail with Democrat Senator Joe Manchin in an attempt to distract from her failures and hide her record as Chuck Schumer’s puppet. The differences between Catherine Cortez Masto – a fake moderate – and Joe Manchin – who is not afraid to buck Chuck Schumer’s radical agenda – could not be more clear.
Earlier this month, Catherine Cortez Masto voted to allow critical race theory to be taught in schools, use taxpayer dollars to fund abortions even for babies with Down Syndrome, abolish fracking, and fuel the ongoing border crisis. But Joe Manchin bucked Schumer and Cortez Masto to stand firm against each of these far-Left policies.
Nevadans know Cortez Masto can’t “get things done for Nevada,” and she especially won’t “cross the aisle” to do so. Parading Joe Manchin around Nevada won’t distract from Cortez Masto’s own radical record.
