Does Maggie Hassan support their opposition?

Washington, D.C – Late last week, New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu signed bills into law that require high school students to pass a civics education course and bans the restriction of the state’s motto, “Live Free or Die” as well as the country’s motto of “In God We Trust” in public schools.  While neither of these bills would strike the overwhelming majority of Granite Staters as radical, New Hampshire Democrats couldn’t help themselves in the race to be the most “woke.”

In a statement, Democrat State Rep. Mel Myler from Portsmouth appeared to suggest that the motto “Live Free or Die” would not create a “welcoming and inclusive place for learning” in New Hampshire schools. You heard that right… “Live Free or Die” is apparently not a welcoming message for New Hampshire Democrats.

The question many are asking now: Where does Maggie Hassan stand on the mottos that not only define her state but our nation?  Will she cave to the woke Left?

Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “How can you call yourself a Granite Stater and not find pride in the greatest state motto in America, “Live Free or Die”?  Wildly, that’s a question many in New Hampshire are asking themselves after the latest Democrat temper tantrum against common sense.  Senator Maggie Hassan, who claims to have no affiliation with the radical elements of her party, needs to speak out and show leadership by defending Governor Sununu’s actions.  Silence is an implicit endorsement of the recent insanity from New Hampshire Democrats.”
