With just hours until Election Day, Kyrsten Sinema is still refusing to say if she regrets telling Americans she’s ok with them joining the Taliban.

Catching up with Sinema at a campaign event, NBC’s Vaughn Hillyard asked Sinema twice if she regrets her controversial comments. Both times Sinema refused to speak up, chalking it up to an “offhand” comment and essentially doubling down on her appalling remarks in the 2003 interview.

“The only thing worse than Kyrsten Sinema’s incredibly dangerous views on national security is her refusal to own up to her appalling remarks and admit she was wrong,” said NRSC Spokesman Calvin Moore. “Kyrsten Sinema owes an apology to every American who has bravely served this nation, putting their lives on the line to defeat the terrorist organizations Sinema has openly told Americans to join.”
