Washington, D.C. – A new Franklin & Marshall College poll was released yesterday on Pennsylvanians’ political mood and it does not look good for Democrats.

Penn Live: More than one-third, 35%, of state voters see themselves financially “worse off” than a year ago. That’s the highest number in F&M polling since President Barack Obama was in office.

Also, a majority, in the fifth straight F&M poll since last March, think the state is on “the wrong track.” And 73% see the nation on “the wrong track.”

The poll shows… just 30% say… Biden [is doing a good or excellent job]. And, tellingly, in the case of Biden, just 19% say he’s doing a good job in dealing with inflation.

Ouch. Do Democrats even care? Doesn’t seem like it…

Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Lizzie Litzow: “The Democrats running for the U.S. Senate seat in Pennsylvania are in trouble. Voters are rejecting Biden and Senate Democrats’ failing agenda, which PA Democrats like John Fetterman and Conor Lamb are fully supporting. If things don’t change soon, and we don’t think they will, this will be a very good year for Republicans.”
