It’s shaping up to be another bad week for Bill Nelson.
Governor Rick Scott just rolled out his tenth ad of the election cycle while Nelson’s feeble campaign has only released one digital ad causing distress among Democrats.
Scott’s latest ad throws it all the way back to the 1970s, highlighting Bill Nelson’s long political career that is laughably short on accomplishments.
It comes right after a pro-Scott super-PAC released a new $3.5 million ad buy attacking Nelson, a new poll showed Nelson losing ground with older voters, two other polls showed Nelson losing (HERE and HERE) and Governor Scott received the endorsement of 55 sheriffs, including nine Democrats.
Luckily for Bill, the week is halfway over.
“Bill Nelson has been running for office since the days of disco yet hasn’t managed to accomplish anything for Floridians, except raising their taxes,” said NRSC Spokesperson Camille Gallo. “That’s why this November, voters will make Bill Nelson a thing of the past and elect Governor Rick Scott to the U.S. Senate.”
