Washington, D.C. – For those following Catherine Cortez Masto’s career, it must come as a surprise to see her touting support for Nevada’s brave law enforcement officials. After all, Masto has proudly accepted endorsements from the radical progressives at Battle Born Progress as well as the “Defund the Police” advocates at NARAL.
Despite once being Nevada’s top law enforcement official, Cortez Masto has not consistently supported law enforcement while in the Senate and even began parroting the talking points of the “Defund the Police” movement.
Catherine Cortez Masto’s shifting support of the police proves that her definition of “Back the Blue” is cozying up to liberal special interest groups, not standing 100% with Nevada law enforcement.
