Washington, D.C. — A new New Hampshire Journal/Praecones Analytica poll found that nearly 3/4ths of registered voters in New Hampshire think that border security is an important issue.

“According to the poll, 74.5 percent said the issue was important, with nearly 40 percent saying it was very important. Just 22.2 percent said it was not very important or not important at all.

And despite the surge of opioids coming illegally across the southern border, more Granite Staters said their top concern about the border crisis is crime and terrorism (37.3 percent) than illicit drugs (27.4 percent).”

Of course, there wouldn’t be as bad of a crisis at the border if Democrats did their jobs and made the issue a priority. Despite her recent MAGA transformation that is corroding her liberal base, Maggie Hassan has one of the worst border security voting records in the Senate.

75% is an awfully big number of voters.  Unfortunately for Hassan, none of them think she actually cares about getting serious about border security.

Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Border security, and the lack thereof, is shaping up to be a big issue that will be on the ballot in November.  MAGA Maggie’s desperate attempt to try and salvage her position on border security is already falling flat and costing her more votes than she could have imagined.”
