For the second time in two debates, Sherrod Brown demonstrated that he has lost touch with Ohioans and can’t be trusted to put their interests first.
Brown showed that on the issues Ohio voters care most about he has more in common with Democrats in Washington than folks back home. In a clear contrast, Jim Renacci demonstrated that he is focused on getting results for Ohio and working with President Trump to continue the policies that have created a booming economy.
“Tonight, Sherrod Brown was clear that his top priority in Washington has always been advancing a liberal ideology that is out of step with Ohio voters,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “Jim Renacci once again showed that he is the only candidate who can be counted on to put Ohio first.”
