If failing to stop legislation that would fund Yucca Mountain wasn’t bad enough, Jacky Rosen has now been called out for lying about Senator Heller’s successful efforts in stopping Nevada from being turned into the country’s nuclear waste dump.
In a desperate attempt to deflect blame from her own failures, Rosen falsely claimed that Senator Heller has supported Yucca Mountain. This couldn’t be further from the truth and PolitiFact quickly deemed that Rosen’s attacks on Senator Heller were “mostly false.” Rosen’s false attacks are the latest example of why Nevadans can’t trust her to represent them in the U.S. Senate.
“Not only did Jacky Rosen fail to deliver for Nevadans, but she’s also a liar,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Voters know that while Senator Heller has continued to protect them from Yucca Mountain, Jacky Rosen has shown she lacks the experience or ability to protect Nevada’s interests.”
