Kyrsten Sinema faltered in tonight’s debate against Martha McSally, showing Arizonans exactly why they can’t afford to elect her to the United States Senate.

Sinema tried (and failed) to spin her comments encouraging Americans to join the Taliban, failed to explain why she insulted Arizonans and called her state the “meth lab of democracy,” and tried to run away from how she’s enabled the sex trafficking of children.

“Tonight, Kyrsten Sinema proved she couldn’t be more out-of-touch with the priorities of everyday Arizonans,” said NRSC Spokesman Calvin Moore. “After a terrible debate performance, getting caught on camera mocking voters of her state, telling Americans to join the Taliban and standing with sex traffickers, it’s clear Arizonans will send Kyrsten Sinema packing and elect a fighter they can trust, Martha McSally to the United States Senate.”
