Senator Tammy Baldwin was out this morning playing the blame-game for her sinking approval ratings. But rather than owning up to her out-of-touch policies and far-left voting record as the cause of her declining popularity, in an interview on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Sen. Baldwin today bewilderingly blamed “the Koch brothers” and “out-of-state special interests” for making her one of the least popular Democratic incumbents in the Senate.
This, of course, after she voted against her constituents to stop the tax cuts that have brought bonuses, pay raises, new jobs and investment to voters all across the state of Wisconsin.
Just take a look at the interview.
“Senator Baldwin has no one to blame but herself. Her approval ratings have hit rock bottom because voters know that Senator Baldwin will always put Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi’s agenda ahead of their own,” said NRSC Spokesman Calvin Moore. “She should own up to the truth about her far-left record and why she voted against cutting taxes for hardworking Wisconsin families and small businesses.”
