In case you were wondering how bad things have gotten for Claire McCaskill after her vote against Justice Kavanaugh, look no further than her new radio ad that insists she’s not “one of those crazy Democrats.”
But, unfortunately for Claire, she is one of those crazy Democrats, with a record to prove it. As the liberal mob attempted to block Justice Kavanaugh and 2020 hopefuls like Kamala Harris and Cory “Spartacus” Booker turned the hearings into a circus, McCaskill stood by silently, refusing to condemn the chaos her allies were causing. And in the end, she was right there with them to vote no on Kavanaugh’s confirmation. If McCaskill didn’t want to get lumped in with “those crazy liberals” she shouldn’t have taken their side against Missourians.
“The fact that Claire McCaskill’s closing argument to Missouri voters is ‘I’m not crazy’ tells you all you need to know about the direction of this race,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “McCaskill joined ‘those crazy Democrats’ as they attempted to block Justice Kavanaugh, and Missourians will hold her accountable when they vote her out of office in less than two weeks.”
