Washington, D.C – Senator Raphael Warnock’s relationship with the truth, as it pertains to the Georgia election security law, is strained to say the very least.

His initial rush to mischaracterize the bill and amplify lies and falsehoods led directly to the MLB moving their All-Star Game and draft out of Atlanta, costing Georgia $100 million in economic opportunity.

Warnock continued to push lies about the bill until, eventually, his staff was forced to apologize on his behalf. He even did an All-Star worthy flip-flop on his supposed support for voter ID hoping no one would catch the fact that it was a blatant lie.

Now, Warnock is at it again, praising a frivolous and wasteful Department of Justice lawsuit that makes a host of debunked claims about the Georgia election security law that Georgians support.  After lies, apologies, and flip-flops, it looks like Warnock can’t get enough of the Big Lie.

Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Raphael Warnock is addicted to supporting the Big Lie about the Georgia election security law.  He’s cost his state $100 million, been caught lying, flip-flopping, and everything in between. Yet he is supporting a bogus DOJ lawsuit that will likely go nowhere and waste taxpayer money. The voters of Georgia know the truth and are sick and tired of Warnock’s continued efforts to mislead them.”
