No matter what she chooses to do, Baldwin can’t hide her record as one of Pelosi’s most loyal lieutenants, who played a crucial role in orchestrating Pelosi’s rise to power. As a refresher, Baldwin once described herself as an “early supporter” of Pelosi, who served on Pelosi’s “whip team” to help elect Pelosi to Democratic leadership and, eventually, to Speaker of the House. But Baldwin’s loyalty to Pelosi didn’t stop there, as her voting record in the House shows she voted with Pelosi an astounding 90% of the time.
But after Baldwin’s intense devotion to Pelosi all these years, you have to ask – would Tammy Baldwin still welcome Pelosi to campaign with her in Wisconsin?
