Patrick Murphy had a brutal month of May. Resume inflation. Political contributions from a domestic abuser. More resume inflation.
And now the Democrat establishment is trying to bail him out. (Again.) President Barack Obama is in South Florida today to raise campaign cash for Murphy, who is not only watching the bottom fall out of his campaign, but is struggling to gain oxygen in a brutal primary fight against liberal hero Alan Grayson.
With Murphy in a tailspin, it’s hardly a surprise that D.C. Democrats are pulling out all the stops to bail out their chosen candidate – but with Grayson constantly assailing Murphy’s from every angle, the primary battle is far from over:
"’We have a situation where Patrick has the best endorsements that money can buy,’ Grayson charged. ‘We have many, many, many cases now of Patrick buying his endorsements, and corrupting the political system.
