Joe Manchin got played. Last year, he played a key role in passing Joe Biden’s multi-billion dollar green-energy spending bill, the so-called Inflation Reduction Act. Now Manchin is having a meltdown because Joe Biden is using the bill to further the Democrats’ climate change agenda.
Manchin now says it’s “bullshit” but just last year he was all too happy to celebrate at the White House with Biden and Schumer:
West Virginia voters can see right through Manchin’s tantrums. That’s why his home-state approval rating fell more than any other senator after he voted for the climate bill, which does nothing to fight inflation and continues the war on American energy.
