- Under Su’s leadership, up to $32 billion worth of fraudulent claims were paid in unemployment benefits during the pandemic.
- She supported a California law that would require independent contractors, such as delivery and ride-sharing drivers to become employees of the companies they’re working for. Su also supports the PRO Act, the national version of this bill.
- Su supports a California bill, the FAST Recovery Act, that would give government appointees authority to create industry-wide standards for franchised restaurants throughout California, including setting wages and working hours, among other decisions.
