The NRSC released the following statement regarding Democrat Scott Harbach’s entry into the Wisconsin Senate race:
"We congratulate Wisconsin Democrats on finally securing a Senate candidate who will not be forced to answer for his blatant campaign finance hypocrisy, scam PAC, eroding principles, 270+ votes in support of higher taxes, and dangerously weak foreign policy record in Washington," said Andrea Bozek, NRSC Communications Director. "Regardless of which candidate emerges from the Democrat primary, businessman Ron Johnson’s strong leadership for our economic prosperity and our national security will provide the ultimate contrast to Mr. Harbach and Senator Russ Feingold."
Harbach’s entry comes as the deeply divided Democratic Party of Wisconsin faces charges from its own delegates of running a "corrupt" and "rigged" system. DPW also faces questions as to whether its upcoming convention will become the latest to see "sparks" between supporters of Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.
