In case you missed it, Katie McGinty called Pat Toomey an “asshole, dammit” during a press conference yesterday. Ironically, this name-calling and expletive-laden address occurred on the same day that McGinty announced she would be speaking at the Democratic National Convention and just days after McGinty stated that the Democrats’ convention would be “positive” and offer an “inviting vision.”
McGinty’s DNC address is scheduled shortly before Hillary Clinton takes the stage on Thursday. The Clinton campaign is currently running a TV ad campaign, “Role Models,” which asks voters to consider whether she or Republican nominee Donald Trump is a better example for children and specifically focuses on language.
WATCH, as Hillary Clinton’s ad has been reworked to include Katie McGinty calling Pat Toomey an “asshole.”

Will Democrats allow Katie McGinty to take the stage with Hillary Clinton? Do national Democrats condone this type of language and name-calling within their Party if they are running an entire campaign that claims that rhetoric is a disqualifier?
