Fresh off of his Friday visit to Stanford – Russ Feingold country, President Obama sent a thank you note this morning in exchange for seven plus years of unwavering support for his failed agenda.

FEINGOLD FLASHBACK:

• “I agree with the president over 95 percent of the time. I think he’s doing a very good job and I think he’s going to be, by the end of his second term, one of our greatest presidents.”

In the fundraising email sent to national donors – the very donors whom Mr. Clean refused to depend on before he lost, President Obama highlights Senator Fengold’s vote against increasing terrorism surveillance and his vote for ObamaCare:

Russ isn’t afraid to stand up for what he knows is right, even when it isn’t popular. He was the sole senator to vote against the USA PATRIOT Act…and he wasn’t afraid to work with me, side by side, to get the Affordable Care Act passed…

As conflicts around the world continue to escalate, the president who likened ISIS to a J.V. team praises the senator responsible for the lone vote against a provision meant to protect us from lone wolf terrorism.

As the insurer with the largest market share in Wisconsin prepares to exit the exchange, the mastermind of ObamaCare praises the deciding voter responsible for its passage.

President Obama’s fundraising email – one that publicizes Senator Feingold’s toxic ties to the administration, his dangerously weak national security votes, his admiration for ObamaCare, and his reliance on out-of-state donors, sounds less like a message of support than it does the script of an attack ad on an eighteen year record of failure in Washington.

We promise we didn’t compose the laundry list of Mr. Clean’s worst hits.

But we wish we could have.
