The video, “Shady Katie’s Cash Grab,” highlights McGinty’s self-service rather than public service. While in her role as Department of Environmental Protection Secretary, McGinty took a meeting with the CEO of a multi-billion-dollar energy company that her department was supposedly regulating. That same company would later reward McGinty with a board position and $1.1 million. Shady Katie’s campaigns have also received more than $23,000 in campaign contributions from the company’s employees.

In case you missed it, you can read more about this trip through the revolving door from Politico, here.

VOICEOVER: "Katie McGinty is running for Senate, but her record indicates she could be after something else…

"Shady Katie McGinty specializes in profiting from public service.

"While serving as Secretary for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Shady Katie McGinty met with the CEO & corporate board of a multi-billion-dollar energy company she was supposedly regulating.

"Just months after the meeting, Shady Katie was awarded a corporate board position at the very same company, earning $1.1 million in cash and stock in the process.

"Tell Shady Katie McGinty that Pennsylvanians deserve someone to stand up for them and not another cash grabbing politician."
