Thanks to Obamacare regulations, Arizona has been left with only one statewide insurer after Humana and UnitedHealthcare were forced to leave the state health exchange.

And enrollees who aren’t losing their plans are going to see a major rate hike.

All thanks to Ann Kirkpatrick, who calls Obamacare her proudest vote.

Obamacare is failing in Arizona and Ann Kirkpatrick is responsible. Don’t look for any apologies though – she won’t budge from standing with President Obama and Washington Democrats over Arizona families.

Don’t be surprised when voters hold her accountable for her rank partisanship and blind loyalty to a failed law that is making it harder every day for Arizonans to obtain and keep their healthcare coverage.

BACKGROUND

Obamacare Sunk Two Major Arizona Insurers, Leaving Only One Statewide Insurer On The Market “Only one health insurer, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, has filed paperwork with federal regulators and the state Department of Insurance to sell Affordable Care Act plans in every county of the state next year… The choices have narrowed this year because UnitedHealthcare and Humana, both citing losses from the Affordable Care Act plans, have exited Arizona’s Obamacare marketplace for 2017.” (Ken Alltucker, “Obamacare Insurers Dwindle As Humana, UnitedHealthcare Exit Arizona,” Arizona Republic, 5/16/16)

Arizona Obamacare Enrollees Will See Significant Rate Hikes In 2017 “Arizona enrollees under the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, will see a significant increase in their health care premiums and deductibles when the marketplace opens ups for 2017 health care plans just one week before voters elect a new president… Overall, the average premium and deductible increase will be $225, with increases occurring in all but 10 states.” (“Arizona Among States Facing Hikes In Obamacare Premiums And Deductibles,” Arizona Business Daily, 5/16/16)
