The Daily Wire reports “Montana‘s Jon Tester is running for his fourth term in the U.S. Senate and he’s found himself an interesting political target: his own political record.  On key issues from illegal immigration to hunting, Tester is openly campaigning against the political positions he took as a lawmaker. The longtime senator has attempted to distance himself from his own record as he likely faces his most difficult campaign yet.”

And Punchbowl points out that on immigration, “Tester has leaned into the issue, announcing his support last week for [the Laken Riley Act which] he previously voted against as part of the FY2024 spending fight.”

“Jon Tester is a medical miracle: Every single day he proves that one man can have two faces. Tester’s desperate attempt to rewrite his record of supporting Joe Biden’s most radical policies will not work.” – NRSC Communications Director Mike Berg
