A breaking development reported by The Arizona Republic just gave Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick 45,000 more reasons to run away from Arizona voters:

The nation’s largest health-care insurer, UnitedHealthcare, will exit the Affordable Care Act marketplace in Arizona next year, a move that will reduce or eliminate options for consumers to buy subsidized plans in more than half of the state’s counties.

UnitedHealth Group insures an estimated 45,000 Arizonans whom Kirkpatrick promised would be able to keep their plans:

Together with the failure of the state’s ObamaCare co-op – which forced 60,000 "scrambl[ing] to find new coverage," today’s devastating news follows a 17.5% premium hike and $1.7 billion in additional taxes on Arizona families over the next decade.

Given these tremendous failures resulting from her vote for ObamaCare – and subsequent votes to protect it, the pride Kirkpatrick feels must be unfathomable for Arizona families:

FLASHBACK:

HOST: When I hear you talk about Obama and especially affordable health care, and I know that certainly was the vote that won you the most freiends and won you the most enemies.

KIRKPATRICK: No doubt about it. And it’s also the one I’m most proud about.

Yet, when they hold her accountable in November, Arizonans who have been plagued by ObamaCare will have the opportunity to experience that very pride as they vote against Ann Kirkpatrick.
