National Review reports that Angela Alsobrooks and then-Senator Kamala Harris teamed up to embrace the Defund the Police movement in the summer of 2020.
Alsobrooks called for “realigning” funding away from police just days after she cut $20 million for law enforcement in Prince George’s County. Since then, the county hasseen an increase in violent crime, including a 58 percent increase in homicides.
