Sadly, this has happened before under Kander’s watch. St. Louis Public Radio notes that in 2014 – Kander’s second year as Secretary of State – the county ran out of ballots in 20 percent of its polling places.
According to Kander’s official biography, “Jason’s priorities include ensuring access to the ballot for eligible voters.” Meanwhile, his campaign page touts his efforts to ‘protect our right to vote.’
