Jon Ossoff slammed the Republican Party of Georgia for “losing” the MLB’s All-Star game in 2021 due to what Ossoff called the state’s “new Jim Crow voting law” that made it “harder for Black voters to vote.”

The truth was that Georgia’s election turnout actually INCREASED after the law.

With the MLB now returning to Georgia, Ossoff should explain to Georgians why he lied to them about Georgia’s voter integrity law.

  • Does Ossoff stand by his previous comments?
  • If he does, why isn’t Ossoff denouncing the MLB’s decision to return to Georgia?
  • Does Ossoff agree with activists like Georgia NAACP president Gerald Griggs who opposes the MLB’s decision?

“Jon Ossoff lied to Georgians about the state’s voter integrity laws with baseless, hyper-partisan attacks and by stoking racial division,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. “Now he’s hiding from the press to avoid being publicly caught in his own lie, but Georgians deserve answers.”
