WASHINGTON, D.C. — Sherrod Brown announced he will run for the U.S. Senate in Ohio yesterday. But Brown is a liberal sell-out who will be rejected by Ohio voters again in 2026:
California Liberal Senator Adam Schiff (D): “Ohio’s champion and America’s Senator. Let’s go win this thing, @SherrodBrown.”
Failed Senate Candidate Jon Tester (D-MT): “We badly need good leadership in DC and I know Sherrod’s the man for the job. Rooting for ya from Big Sandy, my friend.”
Senator Bernie Moreno (R-OH): “You’re the one who rigged the system. You were a feckless rubber stamp for Biden & Schumer’s personal lap dog. You’re a phony who pretends to be on the side of workers and yet you were the tie breaker for EV subsidies, men in women’s sports, and cheered on open borders. Go away.”
Senator Katie Britt (R-AL): “Sherrod Brown is a rubber stamp for the far-left policies that devastate families in Ohio and across America—open borders, runaway inflation, and rampant crime. @JonHusted is a proven voice of common sense who delivers real results for his state.”
Jim Lee, Jon Husted’s former high school football coach: “I know for a fact [Husted] knows what the average Ohio person’s needs are. He grew up in an average family in Ohio… I think he’s a huge competitor, and he wants to win at all costs. I do remember that as an athlete, he was a winner, and he wanted to win.”
Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz: “I think Senator Husted has always had law-enforcement in the forefront of his mind and I think he’s always supported that… When you’ve heard other candidates and other groups speak at the highest levels about defunding the police, I think Senator Husted, while he was here in Ohio, really supported law-enforcement.”
