The National Republican Senatorial Committee is calling for an investigation into Senate candidate Mark Lynch (R-SC) by the Federal Election Commission (FEC) for refusing to properly and timely disclose all of his campaign expenditures. Despite placing multiple cable and broadcast advertising contracts in late June 2025, Lynch failed to indicate disbursements for cable or broadcast advertising services in his Q2 report (April 1 through June 30, 2025).
“South Carolinians deserve transparency, but Mark Lynch is refusing to show South Carolinians how their campaign contributions are being spent,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. “There must be an investigation by the FEC and consequences for Lynch who is once again in serious violation of federal law.”
Background:
- The NRSC called for an investigation into Lynch by the Senate Select Committee on Ethics for failing to timely file his Personal Financial Disclosure Form.
