Chris Pappas recently visited a food pantry in New Hampshire and demanded Congress get back to work for the people.

There is just one problem – Pappas is the one who voted to shut down the government and he would have voted to keep it shut down if he was in the Senate.

Republicans voted to keep the government open in the House, while Pappas voted to close it. Since then, Senate Republicans have voted 14 times to reopen the government with Democrats like Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan blocking it.

“As families struggle to put food on the table this holiday season, they can thank Chris Pappas and Senate Democrats for shutting down the government to give free healthcare to illegal aliens,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.
