Tonight, the most awkward ticket in town is to the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s Eleanor Roosevelt Dinner. Democrats are at war with each other over the 8 Senate Democrats, including both of New Hampshire’s Senators, who voted to reopen the government.
Both are expected to be in attendance… along with Chris Pappas, who broke with them and voted against reopening… and the dinner will be headlined by Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), who vocally opposed reopening.
Will Chris Pappas hold the line and side with Booker and Democrat activists to bash his Senate counterparts? Will he finally weigh in on whether he still supports Chuck Schumer after he refused to answer questions on the issue?
“The most awkward dinner party in Nashua is set to take place as Cory Booker and Chris Pappas join their far-left base to mourn the federal government being reopened,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell. “While Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan did what was best for Granite Staters, Pappas and Booker stood with radical Democrats to demand free healthcare for illegals.”
