First Lady Melania Trump and Second Lady Usha Vance will travel to North Carolina today to spend time with military members, their families, and show appreciation for those who serve.
But Democrat Roy Cooper would have abandoned North Carolina’s service members and voted against nearly $600 million in military funding for North Carolina last week.
“For liberal Roy Cooper, illegals and the radical left’s agenda comes first — not the brave North Carolinians who serve our country,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. “Thanks to President Trump and Senate Republicans, North Carolina’s service members and military installations will receive the support they deserve.”
