WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released the following statement today after Maine Governor Janet Mills announced she would allow a bill banning state and local law enforcement from working with ICE to become law:
“There is no excuse for allowing criminal illegal immigrants to wreak havoc on Maine’s communities and harm children. It is a shame that Janet Mills is once again putting politics over innocent Mainers,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.
