Republican leadership is continuing to bring down costs for the American people. Core inflation was “less than expected” again and remained at a five year low in December. Yesterday, gas prices once again hit a new five-year low with the price of a gallon under $3 in 43 states.
The work to bring down costs for the American people continues, but Susan Collins is already making strides to fix the economic disaster caused by Joe Biden and Janet Mills when inflation hit more than 9%.
“Republican leadership is bringing Americans’ wallets much needed relief after Biden’s historically high inflation,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell. “Janet Mills and Democrats want to destroy America’s economic comeback, ushering in their socialist agenda that leaves Americans with less prosperity, safety, and opportunity.”
