Today is the one year anniversary of President Trump signing the Laken Riley Act into law. Laken Riley was a 22-year-old nursing student who was brutally murdered in Georgia by a criminal from Venezuela who had entered the country illegally under Joe Biden. Republicans in Congress championed the Laken Riley Act to help ensure tragedies like Laken’s murder never happen again.

The life-saving legislation has made the Minnesota Democrats’ messy primary even uglier, with Craig and Flanagan careening even farther to the left.

“Protecting innocent Americans from criminal illegals should not be controversial. But Peggy Flanagan and Angie Craig are so desperate to prove who’s more radical, they’re  demonizing law enforcement, defending dangerous illegals, and encouraging more chaos,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia
