10 Questions For Senator Russ Feingold’s Return To Law School

Feingold is set to speak at Marquette University Law School.

Though the event sold out quickly – much like Feingold did with his principles, below are ten questions to consider asking Mr. Clean:

1. Last year, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel busted you for cashing in out of office, despite being a critic of speaking fees during your eighteen years in Washington, DC. Your biggest payday came from a $12,000 honorarium from Arizona State University. Is it strange to be in Wisconsin?

2. You were also busted for setting up a scam political action committee to pay yourself and former staffers, fully flopping on receiving campaign contributions from out-of-state donors, and selling your principles at the very venue where you once said lobbyists buy influence. How many garage door promises have you broken and does ‘Mr. Clean’ wish that he had a Magic Eraser for all of those broken promises to the people of Wisconsin?

3. Now that John Kerry and Josh Earnest finally admitted that some Iran sanctions relief will go to terrorists, are you still "all in" for President Obama’s nuclear deal?

4. In recent months alone, Iran – whose supreme leader chants "Death to America," has conducted two ballistic missile tests, fired rockets near one of our aircraft carriers, held ten American sailors at gunpoint, boosted funding to Hezbollah and Hamas, and moved forward with construction on two new nuclear power plants. What more must Iran do before you change your view that the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism is not an inherently enemy country?

5. Having the benefit of hindsight as you prepare for a rematch with the chair of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, what was more irresponsible: your vote against creating the Department of Homeland Security or your lone vote against increasing terrorism surveillance?

6. Progressives United, your scam PAC, refers to Bernie Sanders as one of its five "champions." Wisconsinites and Californians alike deserve to know: do you support Socialist Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton – who once screamed at you, "you’re not living in the real world."

7. After once ordering the DSCC to "get the hell out of my state," you seem to be just fine with the abundance of Democrat outside spending on your behalf. Two part question: Is your state California or Wisconsin and why have you not denounced outside spending like you did during previous campaigns?

8. Your deciding vote for ObamaCare saddled hardworking Wisconsinites with $1.8 billion in additional taxes over the next ten years. Major insurers in the state – like Milwaukee-based Assurant Health, have either gone out of business or cut back because of ObamaCare. Do you regret claiming that ObamaCare was “going to look pretty damn good"?

9. Last year, your campaign was exposed for attempting to downplay your nearly two-decade career in Washington, DC. Are campaign supporters still banned from referring to you as "Senator Feingold"?

10. Earlier this month, President Obama – who once referred to ISIS as a ‘JV’ Team and ‘contained’, emphasized in an off-the-record meeting with columnists that ISIS "did not threaten the United States in a fundamental way." As conflicts around the world continue to escalate, do you still think that President Obama "is doing an excellent job on the international front" and "could end up being one of our great presidents from the point of view of our international policies"?
