50,000 TSA officers aren’t being paid as Jon Ossoff’s DHS shutdown enters day 40.
But Ossoff is still collecting his paycheck while he holds TSA officers’ paychecks hostage over protecting criminal illegals. Senate Democrats even blocked a Republican proposal to withhold congressional pay during Democrats’ DHS shutdown.
“The hypocrisy is stunning. Jon Ossoff is collecting his tax-payer funded paycheck while he holds TSA officers’ paychecks hostage to protect illegals. Unlike Ossoff, hardworking Georgians don’t get to choose if they face the consequences of Democrats’ shutdown,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
Reminder: Ossoff and Senate Democrats have opposed Republican efforts to fund DHS 14 times.
