WASHINGTON, D.C. — With Tax Day approaching, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released new digital ads in 22 states across the Senate map touting the success of the Working Families Tax Cuts.
The ads highlight popular provisions like the extension of small business tax cuts, historic investments in rural healthcare, and the elimination of taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security. Overall, the Working Families Tax Cuts prevented a $4.5 trillion tax hike on the American people, and have already resulted in tax refunds an average of 14% higher than last year.
“After four years of Democrat control that caused runaway inflation and rising costs, Senate Democrats were ready to allow a $4.5 trillion tax hike on American working families,” said NRSC Communications Director Joanna Rodriguez. “Thankfully, President Trump and Senate Republicans took action to deliver historic tax cuts that ensure Americans keep more of their paychecks this tax season.”
The ads are running in 22 states, including Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
