Jon Husted is leading the charge to show Americans where Democrats like Sherrod Brown truly stand on voter ID.
Today, Husted offered Senate Democrats the opportunity to support a clean voter ID bill. Once again, zero Democrats supported Husted’s proposal despite claiming they support voter ID.
Meanwhile, Sherrod Brown — who previously recommended Ohioans bring a photo ID with them to vote — locked arms with the radical left, calling voter ID “unnecessary.” Over 80% of Americans would disagree with Brown.
“Sherrod Brown sold out Ohioans to the radical left for over 30 years in Washington. While Jon Husted fights for Ohio values and common-sense voter ID law, Brown is taking orders from his Democrat bosses in D.C.,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
