WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released new digital ads today in seven battleground Senate races highlighting how Democrat candidates opposed the Working Families Tax Cuts that led to an 11% increase in Americans’ tax refunds this year.
“Working families across the country have enough on their plates, but Democrats like Jon Ossoff go to Washington and fight to take more money out of their pockets,” said NRSC Communications Director Joanna Rodriguez. “President Trump and Senate Republicans are working tirelessly to deliver for working families including higher take-home pay and lower taxes.”
The new ads call out Democrats who opposed the Working Families Tax Cuts in seven battleground states, including Alaska, Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Michigan, and Ohio. The negative ads follow 22 positive NRSC ads last month celebrating the success of the Working Families Tax Cuts. New national polling released yesterday about swing and low-propensity voters critical to the Party’s midterm coalition found an overwhelming majority are more likely to support candidates that fight for Republican economic initiatives.
