Following the third assassination attempt on President Trump, Chris Pappas hypocritically said he is “grateful to the brave law enforcement officers who acted quickly to ensure everyone’s safety,” despite being the one who forced the Secret Service to operate without funding for over 70 days now.
Chris Pappas voted to shut down the Department of Homeland Security and hold the paychecks of brave Secret Service agents hostage, just to protect illegal aliens.
“If Chris Pappas is as ‘grateful’ to law enforcement as he claims, then he would stop holding DHS hostage and vote to fund the law enforcement and Secret Service agents who prevented a tragedy,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.
