Roy Cooper is so scared of his radical base that he’s refusing to condemn the left-wing assassination attempt on President Trump and his administration.

Cooper has consistently used extreme and reckless rhetoric against the President to his appease the far-left. Cooper:

  • Called President Trump “an existential threat to our democracy and our nation” weeks before the assassination attempt in Butler.
  • Again called President Trump “a significant threat to our democracy” two days before the assassination attempt in Butler.

Remember, Roy Cooper marched with Defund the Police radicals as Governor. It’s no surprise he’s also refusing to call on his fellow Democrats to stop defunding the Department of Homeland Security.

“Roy Cooper is yet again coddling another criminal as he refuses to condemn the left-wing assassination attempt on the President and his administration. Cooper is too weak to stand up to the radical left, and his reckless political rhetoric against President Trump must stop,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
