WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released a new digital ad correcting Graham Platner’s new animated advertisement that misleadingly portrays Platner as having a working-class upbringing. In reality, the ad reveals that Platner attended the prestigious Hotchkiss School and resides in a home purchased for him by his father.

“Graham Platner is a prep-school kid living in a house daddy bought him while he lies to Mainers with false claims that he’s ‘never been close to money and power,'” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell. “Mainers can’t trust anything Platner says when his history shows he’s an out-of-touch rich kid who never takes accountability for his actions and repeatedly expressed his hate for rural Maine, women, and minorities.”
