Mark Lynch just fumbled basic United States history questions an eighth grader could answer.
Lynch admitted he does not know the constitutional amendments that abolished slavery, delivered women’s suffrage, and reserve all powers not delegated to the federal government to the states.
Lynch also revealed he has no idea there’s a line of succession to the President. Instead he thinks “there would be a special election” if the President and Vice President were unable to serve.
Watch the wildly embarrassing moment here or below.
“Anybody who can’t answer basic elementary school history questions about our nation is not a patriot and has zero business being in the U.S. Senate. This is just more proof Mark Lynch would be a gift for America-hating Democrats,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
