Roy Cooper and his Green New Scam agenda failed to deliver on his promise of bringing thousands of jobs to North Carolina.

As Governor, Cooper—who supports banning gas-powered cars—recruited a foreign multinational corporation to build an EV plant in North Carolina. Cooper called it “the largest economic development announcement in the state’s history.”

The project was supposed to create 7,500 jobs, but that never happened

This is just another blunder in a long list of failures from Cooper’s nearly 40-year-long career pushing the far left’s agenda.

  • Despite promising to fight mergers, Cooper refused to take on the largest attempted grocery merger in U.S. history.
  • Over 1,000 North Carolinians were still homeless after Cooper’s botched hurricane recovery efforts. Then Cooper lied about the amount of homes he rebuilt.
  • Cooper cheered on Joe Biden and his friend, Kamala Harris’ reckless spending that sent inflation to 9% and squeezed North Carolinians’ pocketbooks.
  • Cooper agreed to release at least 3,500 criminals from prison early—including murderers and child rapists. Nearly half went on to reoffend.
  • Cooper turned North Carolina into a sanctuary state, allowing violent illegals to roam the streets and hurt North Carolinians.

“Roy Cooper has only ever delivered on the radical left’s priorities, and North Carolinians are still paying the price,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia
