Six years ago today, Roy Cooper marched with defund the police rioters in Raleigh.
Earlier, Cooper fled the Governor’s Mansion as businesses were destroyed by the rioters. He only returned to march side by side with them, putting law enforcement lives in danger. Cooper continued caving to the woke mob as Governor—agreeing to release at least 3,500 criminals from prison early. Nearly half went on to reoffend, including 18 murder offenses.
“Soft-on-crime Roy Cooper stands with violent criminals and defund the police lunatics. Cooper’s weakness has repeatedly put North Carolinians in danger, and they’re still paying the price today,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
