Graham Platner is officially the Democrat Senate nominee in Maine and questions are piling up about his past. The truth will come out, and this is the time for Graham Platner to finally be transparent with voters.
Platner must answer the following questions:
- You created and maintained an account on Kik, a platform that has been the subject of extensive reporting involving child exploitation, anonymous sexual activity, and predatory behavior. Will you provide a full list of the accounts you have messaged, the age of the recipients, and allow others access into the account?
- You have admitted to receiving $4,800 per month in disability payments from the VA due to a 100 percent disability rating. But on Reddit you bragged about your high disability rating and even coached another veteran through how to increase their own rating. After questions swirled about how you are able to run an oyster farm and vigorously campaign for the Senate with a 100 percent disability rating, The Portland Press Herald asked which type of disability rating you have and you refused to answer. Will you release your full VA disability records?
- You have stated multiple times that you “have never been close to money and power,” but reports show that your parents sent you to the elite Hotchkiss School that costs over $75,000 a year. Would you call on the boarding school to release all records of your time there and tell voters why you got expelled?
- Multiple women have accused you of abuse, harassment, and threatening behavior. The New York Times also reported that you were sending sexually explicit text messages to over a dozen women during your marriage. Will you provide full transparency and release the text messages with these women?
- After lying about using a VA loan to buy your house, reports exposed that your Dad gave you a $200,000 loan for the $205,000 house. Now you say your Dad gave you a “significantly higher interest rate than the bank would have”. Why would you choose to take out a worse loan from your Dad and can you prove that you are actually paying him back?
- Are there any parts of Bernie Sanders’ radical platform you disagree with?
