Today, NRSC Chairman Tim Scott and Senate Republicans passed the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, landmark legislation to reform the housing industry and unlock the American Dream of homeownership for working families.
“Senate Republicans continue to fight tirelessly to unleash economic opportunity for families and make life more affordable. This historic legislation puts the American Dream of home ownership within greater reach for hardworking Americans and first-time homebuyers,” said Bernadette Breslin, NRSC national press secretary.
The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act offers real relief to families by lowering housing costs, expanding America’s housing supply, slashing bureaucratic red tape, and protecting taxpayers.
President Donald Trump has championed the legislation, highlighting its promise to ensure homes are built for people, not corporations.
