A new Democrat poll shows North Carolina’s U.S. Senate race tightening. Notably, Cooper’s lead in the last public poll from the New York Times has shrunk 3 points.
Remember, Roy Cooper has never run in a competitive race in his life and Republicans now outnumber Democrats in voter registration for the first time in the state’s history. This toss-up race will remain competitive as Cooper’s failures continue to be exposed.
“North Carolinians know Roy Cooper’s failed record of higher costs and soft-on-crime policies, and they will permanently retire him in November,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
