WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) today launched a new digital ad series holding Senate Democrats accountable for voting against billions in rural hospital funding while prioritizing taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants.

“When Senate Democrats like Jon Ossoff had the opportunity to invest billions in rural hospitals, they voted no. Democrats will put illegal immigrants ahead of hardworking Americans every chance they get,” said NRSC National Press Secretary Bernadette Breslin.

The new ads turn Democrats’ false healthcare attacks on their head. Republicans passed legislation that slashes waste, fraud, and abuse in America’s healthcare system while investing billions in rural hospitals—and every Senate Democrat voted against it.

Democrats like Jon Ossoff have already been exposed for falsely blaming Republicans for rural hospital closures in Georgia that happened under Biden and Ossoff’s vote against $200 million for the state’s rural hospitals.

The new ads will run across Senate battlegrounds in Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, Iowa, Alaska, Michigan, and New Hampshire.

“Georgia Last” Transcript

VO: “Eight rural Georgia hospitals have closed since 2010. And when Jon Ossoff had a chance to secure 200 million dollars for rural hospitals, he voted no.

“No to rural hospitals. No to better healthcare access. No to Georgia families.

“Instead, Jon Ossoff wants to give free healthcare to illegal immigrants with your tax dollars.

“He made his choice: illegal immigrants first, Georgia last.”
